While black women are the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs, only 3% of our companies mature and survive longer than 5 years. We are historically under funded and often time lack the resources to scale, network and simply be in the room. In 2020 when launched TGP, I knew collaboration and shared...
wisdom was necessary. I began to collab with other women in business hosting pop up shops to network, community share, and bring more dollars and visibility to my fellow sisters in biz. Acquiring this shop, no different! Who can I bring along with me! Who can I elevate that shares my mission? Ladies, let's work!

Hello my name is Candice Joyner and I am the owner/operator of Amala Whips, LLC. I am a teacher, and a mother. I started making whipped body butter in 2020 for my sons eczema. I wanted a natural alternative to soothe his itching skin and to get rid of his rashes. After doing my personal research, I learned so much about common skin conditions such as psoriasis, hyperpigmentation, eczema and more can be cured by using plants and vegetables. I wanted to share my formulation with as many people as possible. Now almost three years later I am proud to say that many people have tried my products and they say they have retired all of there over the counter chemical filled products for mine. This is why I created Amala Whips. I wanted to show people that there is a better way.

I'm Nailah Queen, wife, mother, CEO, philanthropist, innovator, self care advocate, business mentor, influencer, travel enthusiast, and serial entrepreneur. I've always had some sort of side hustle growing up and decided n 2015 to step out on faith and become a part-time entrepreneur. I did this so that I could leave a legacy for my son and family so, while still working full time, I started Royalty Escapes Travel Agency and since then have opened Realeza Styles Travel Clothing and Accessory Line, the successfully emerging Regally Insane Hair and Body Health Line and "It's Nailah" the hub for coaching and business services. I am very involved in mentoring other entrepreneurs just starting out and also connecting with those who are seasoned to build the African American entrepreneur community. It's important to be part of the change we want to see and entrepreneurship allows us to have a seat at the table without having to ask for it.
